Once the articles have been received, editors and reviewers are free to suggest partial modifications to the articles, without affecting the original sense and arguments of the work. Once the article has been accepted for scientific publication in the Journal, the latter is free to reproduce its contents, duly indicating its authors, who accept the conditions contained in its rules. In this regard, the authors retain the right to copy (copyrigth) and assign to the Journal the rights of editing, reproduction, translation authorization, as well as the right of first publication of the work, under Creative Commons Attribution License, as indicated in Creative Commons Attribution-NonComercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) which allows third parties to use what is published as long as they make reference to the author or authors of the work and its publication in this journal. The use is non-commercial and the article may be modified and distributed but under the same Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license as the original material.

Authors are free to make other contractual agreements for the distribution of the article they publish in this Journal (such as including it in an institutional collection, publishing it in a book, on a web page or institutional repository), as long as they indicate the original publication of the work in this Journal.

The authors expressly release the Department of Primary Care and Family Health of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad de Chile from responsibility for any legal, contractual or regulatory infringement that they may commit or have committed in relation to the work, and are obliged to compensate the institution for any damage resulting from the infringement of the aforementioned rights. According to the above, the articles are the sole responsibility of their authors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Revista Chilena de Atención Primaria y Salud Familiar or the institution to which they are affiliated.

After acceptance of the articles for publication, the Revista Chilena de Atención Primaria y Salud Familiar is free to reproduce the contents for scientific dissemination purposes, duly indicating the authors.

Archiving policy

The Revista Chilena de Atención Primaria y Salud Familiar will have an archiving system according to the policies of the Library of the Faculty of Medicine for preservation and restoration purposes; and will be adapted to the future policies of the University of Chile.

Privacy Policy

The personal data requested in this site, including postal, telephone and electronic contact information, will be used exclusively for the purposes of editing, distribution and scientific publication in the Revista Chilena de Atención Primaria y Salud Familiar and will not be communicated or transferred to third parties that are not part of the Department of Primary Care and Family Health of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile.
